Maryland is granting more medical marijuana business licenses y'all!!! They've already given Harvest their own processing license and approved 6 more dispensaries. But they're adding 4 more grower licenses and 10 more processor licenses! The deadline to apply is May 24th. "The commission is hoping to expand women and minority-ownership in the industry through the new licenses." Get it get it y'all!
FORTUNE reports that Maryland's medical program boasts some of the highest wages in the industry along with Massachusetts.
Westminster is finally getting a dispensary! Looks like the planned CarrollCanna dispensary has entered into a management agreement with Grassroots to run the joint.

First- the FDA has scheduled a hearing on hemp-derived CBD being added to food and drinks. Their ruling could mean major changes to the current post-Farm Bill free-for-all currently taking place. The hearing is May 31st at their Silver Spring office.
"The Federal Agency says that people interested in the future of CBD could submit comments electronically or via snail mail. The hearing will be open to the public, and will no doubt be well-attended. There will also be webcast of the hearing." Get it on your calendar, baby!
